First, we love Popeye's chicken! I stopped by the 5108 Route 59 Naperville IL store last evening after work.
I was the ONLY one in the drive through when I placed my order. The person at the window (male manager) took my order, I paid, and he told me it would be 4 minutes, and asked that I pull around tom the opposite side of the store near the entrance doors, it was 4:57p.m. It became busy both at the drive through and in the store, so I patiently waited. At 5:10, I tried calling the store to get the status of my order.
At 5:29p.m. I got out of my car and went into the store. There were 2 customers in line, and 5 employees at the counter and in the kitchen area. I asked TWO of the female employees about my order, they shrugged their shoulders and told me "No speak english".
I then waited for the employee (manager) that took my order. I asked him why I still hadn't received my order, and he just looked at me. I told him I was the ONLY customer in the drive through at 4:57p.m. and that I was waiting for my order to be brought to my car.
He explained that they were "short-staffed" (with 5 employees on site???), and that he was sorry. I asked for my order, he asked the two female employees about it, and they shrugged their shoulders. PLEASE understand that I am disabled and that's the reason I went through the drive through in the first place. Unfortunately, we will no longer purchase Popeyes chicken from that store.
The management needs to take a serious look at their management, the ability of the employees to communicate in english with the customers, and the lack of concern about food delivery to those utilizing the drive through. Valarie McClain

Popeyes offers 16 reward items based on 200 points to 1,000 points for different items. Currently, out of the 16 items, only 3 are available for all the stores in Fresno, California.
These items are: 200 points for biscuit, 300 points for small beverage, and 600 points for popcorn shrimp. The rest of the items are marked unavailable for redeeming and it's been like that for months. I have close to 4,000 points and cannot redeem. I talked to the workers at the stores and they said they don't have any control.
I've been advised to contact you. I feel like this is false advertisement, to become a loyal and regular customer but earning points is useless. Please let me know if you can resolve this issue.
If not, let me know who else I should contact. Thank you.

I generally wont send a complaint but situation warranted me to contact you. I went to your restaurant yesterday afternoon about 4:00pm at 111 W.

I went through the drive through to order. The female employee took my order and gave me a total. When I get to the window this very rude male employee read my order back to me and I confirmed and he saw I was paying cash. He closed the window then reopened it and total me my order was $12.00 higher then the women told me.
He gave me my order with no receipt and slammed the window and walked away.
I had the popcorn shrimp when I got home and within hours I was throwing up. Ive had food poisoning one other time in my life so Im very aware of what it is. I was so sick and in extreme amount of pain I mentioned to my husband I may need to go to the Emergency Room. I still had some of the shrimp left and instructed my family not to eat any of it especially after I saw how it affected me.
I feel your company should be made aware of what is going on at your restaurant and I sincerely hope nobody else experiences this from your establishment.
I will never visit this location again. The people with me were very surprised how we were treated and I sincerely hope you look into this and not ignore this email.
