Filled order wrong, refused to fix

I recently drove through Popeye's in Gainesville GA. I ordered my to go meal with cajun fries, but, when I went to eat it found I had been served rice. I was home by then, so didn't go right back to the resturant. A couple of days later I went into the same resturant to eat. I told the lady at the counter what had happened, and she offered my fries for free, with a smile. When my food was served by the manager,Achmad, it was without the fries! I asked for them, he just looked at the receipt and said I hadn't paid for them. He said the only way he would have honored my request is if I had brought in the receipt and the rice! I told him I would never come there again. He was very rude, and made it plain he didn't care!

We were the regular customers of popeyes chicken but An incident held on July 30th, 2010 changed the thinking. Me, my wife and my kids visited Niagara falls and as usual we planned to go there for dinner. When we entered in to the Popeye's Chicken restaurant at Niagara Falls Lundy's lane. A cashier said that these bastards will sit at that place which I just cleaned. When my wife said this is not an appropriate way to deal with your regular customer than another cashier said this family is crazy. I used to go there since the last 5 years. Stole my money and my time.

Ordering from Popey's was the worst customer experience of my life. I waited 46 minutes for my order of a 10-piece (5 spicy, 5 mild) chicken package and four sides. When the "manager" told me they had accidentally given my chicken to the person behind me in line (I had been shuttled to the parking lot, by then), I was offered "three 50% off coupons and 10 pieces of mild chicken" Here's the result: 1) I was given four pieces of chicken -- 2 wings and 2 thighs. 2) Two of the sides were wrong. 3) The mashed potatos looked dry. 4) The gravy appeared greenish. 5) No coupons in my bag. Christie, the "real manager" responded to my request for compensation with "Oh, that ain't gonna happen." My kids ended up eating Spaghetti-Os for dinner that night. If I can get just 50 people to boycott Popeye's forever, I will be a very happy man. Sorry to hear about your troubles...you can add me to the list. That is what this forum is all about.

It doesn't take many voices to let a company know when they've erred. Hopefully, they'll retrain and use some of these comments as lessons learned.

Popeyes horrible service & food

we went there at 11:00.there was one person in front of us at window. it took 8 minutes to get to window. we sat there almost four minutes & was then able to order. we get to window & pay & was asked to drive up. we would have a two minute wait. there were only two customers in store.we only ordered two orders of wicked chicken. after nine MORE minutes we got our food. we get home & chicken is undercooked & there were almost NO redbeans in the containers. obviousy they were not ready for business of any sort. from now on kfc all the way.

POPEYES CHICKEN GOOD SERVICE FROM RUDE EMPLOYEES BADD

Popeyes chicken has always been my favorite fried chicken. i recently went to a local Popeyes in Rosedale Queens on Francis Lewis boulevard. I usually dont have a problem shopping there but they've recently hired a few young females who act very unproffessional at the register exchanging smiles and comments while there manager completes transactions. The particular girl that i dealt with msy have been new because she could not even take a simple order from me so her assistant manager had to di it and all she did was take the money . When i revisited the store later on that day she exchanged irrelevant comments and giggles with her co-worker right in front of me although she could not complete her work. I was aghast at the level of service i was being rendered after spending @ least a 100$ a month at just that location. Shoppers don' tolerate rudeness because even where i work we get surveys and graded on them with a possibility of termination for recurring instances. Lets make it uniform across the board for all consumers!

Yeah, I used to work at the Waldorf Maryland Popeye's. I was the cook.

Sometimes we would get nasty customers so we would drop their food on the filthy greasy floor.

Once , one of the managers decided to pull out his shank and smear it all over the biscuits for this one nasty customer. We never saw that *** again.

The way the chicken was cut

Purchased chicken at your Blue Island Il. store. I got a 14 piece meal. The part by the tail was cut off and counted as a piece. I thouht is was 2wings 2 breast 2 drumsticks & 2 thighs. 8 parts Not 10. I got 4 of the smaller parts counted. The company is not giving the total piece count you should get . Purchased date was 1/11/09. In this day and time we all need as much for our dollar as we came get. The best value for our money. Thank you Popeyes also my hungary fanily thanks you.

USA fast "food" and customer "service" sucks. The ONLY way they will wake up is when American wimps STOP purchasing their ***.

Then, when it hits their wallets, those corporate *** houses will wake up and prepare better quality food and treat each customer with respect, courtesy, and dignity. With the massive amounts of low paid immigrants who flock to these "food" stores as both workers and customers--you get what you pay for in USA.

Popeyes is 99% Franchisee owned. The Franchisor (AFCE) went 3 years without having a President for Popeyes. No investment in Marketing until 6million over the next year that started September 1, 2008. The current marketing plan should provide transaction increases, but still show negative comp sales. The new President Cheryl Bacholder does not listen to her franchisees let alone her employees. The stock has fallen to $9 per share and if comp sales have anything to do with it, it will fall even farther. Ms. Bacholder has no real qualifications to run a major brand and Popeyes just might not make it.

Being in business is not as easy as others may think but with God on your side you can make it! You also need to have a realistic look at your business plan and have professionals in place to give sound advise.

Base on this article we do not know 100% as to what is going on here. However, it seems like the individual who wrote this article has much more information than us readers. That still does not change my opinion that the writer seems to want to bash the new president.

There must be something very personal about this article and that totally turned me off. Dear writer shame on you for being one sided!

Man, what happened to Popeye's Chicken?! I stopped in the Amarillo Tx. T.A. truckstop for a break on an 1100 mile trip. We don't have a Popeye's near us in N.M. so, it's always, well it used to be, a real treat to run up on a Popeyes while on the road....

14 Nov 2011, Popeye's in Laurel, MS.

I placed my order at 2:54PM. The shrimp sandwich was good, however, the staff is the rudest that I have ever encountered.

This is not my first visit to this fast food resteraunt. I would go more often but am so dissatisfied with the staff, I can't stomach going more than a couple of times a year. The staff has never, I mean never, said please or thankyou. They will be speaking with other staff rather than give the customer their full attention.

When she hands me my meal I say thankyou whereas she turns away without acknowledging my existance or saying "you're welcome". I observed other staff getting their meals and sitting in the customer area cutting up (you can hear this thru the drive-thru window. I believe Popeyes management needs to send secret shoppers to this resteraunt to verify my experience....they will agree with me 100 percent.

I am so disgusted that I will never eat in the Laurel MS Popeye's again. Most of the staff needs to be fired, especially the supervisor who allows this behavior during their watch.

Customer Service Horrible

I had ordered the Chicken & Shrimp order with 2 biscuits and mashed potato as a side order. The trainee just handed me the bag without the drink or mashed potato. When I reminded him about the missing items, he just said "Oh" and gave me the rest of my order. I asked him if he put in the biscuits, without even checking he assured me that it was there. When I reached home I found the biscuits were missing. I lost it and when I called the supervisor to give him a piece of my mind he hangs up on me. I drive up to the store and confronted him, by telling him to keep up with North American standards, he just argued with me without even offering to compensate for my time and effort. Adding insult to injury, the trainee jumps in saying that it was my job to check my order. I guess "Popeyes" and customer service don't go hand in hand. Any Tom, *** and Harry with a few dimes in his pocket can buy this franchise. Moral of the story try and avoid this franchise, KFC is a good alternative.

This is an example of both poor training and of a nutty customer. Yes, the employee should have checked and properly thanked the customer.

But yelling and screaming and confronting a manager and employees does not fix the situtation either. You do not need to be compensated for your time and effort. You should have checked your bag before you left. You also should not expect that a trainee is going to know everything and get everything correct until they have worked there for a while.

Mistakes happen. They especially happen when you are employing high school kids, high school drop outs, and people who could not work anywhere else because they are too low class to keep a better job. If you lost it and called and yelled at the manager, they were completely right in hanging up on you and if you drove all the way there because you were mad, I would have had the police remove you.

You got mad and made an *** out of yourself over a human mistake and biscuits. Are you an adult or are you two years old?

Very rude service at the counter

Yesterday March 27, 2008, at 5:10pm, I stopped at the Popeyes store (2382) on Rainbow Drive in Gadsden, Al. When I arrived at the counter a girl was talking to a man who had already ordered. After waiting over five minutes, I asked when could I place my order. She said I guess now. I ordered and paid, she did not say thank you have a good day or even go to ***. I ordered legs and breast, When I got home I noticed I received legs and thighs, I do not think it was an accident. I could not see her name, but it started out La and ended in ite. Served half cooked chicken

I received my order for 9 pieces of mix chicken and when I got home and start putting the pieces on a platter a located a chicken thigh that had blood on the side and after opening up found it still raw at the bone. I contacted the Popeye's restaurant and informed them of the problem and it seems like okay I am sorry so what. I will be taking the chicken thigh back up there. I work with the public and know how frustating it can be but not cooking the chicken done because you have more then five customers waiting is not a profitable action.
