Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Drive-through Review from San Jose, California

Wednesday May 25th, 2016 09:02 P.M. Order 32 drive-thru Store #11972 Gilbert, AZ 85225 RefNum 010832 Merchant Id 334199****83 After placing our order, we pulled up to the window to pay. After paying & receiving the receipt. We were asked to exit the drive-thru and lap around the building. And was told that, when we return, our order should be ready. My complaintis about that procedure. Ot sure that is the correct method as taught to employees in regards to policy & procedures. And if it is, for what it's worth, as a customer, it does not make any logical sense. I was the only car in the drive-thru for what can be estimated as 9 minutes. No other customers in the drive-thru placing orders. And none before us at the immediate rime. To drive around the building, and return to receive the order. A few possible "what if" problems come to mind. First to point out, as little as it may be. The usage of gas and energy to exit and return is a concern. Miniscule to thise who do not burden the costs. 1. A what if- one or several cars pull into the drive-thru exactly right after i purchased the order. And for such a large, ot wouldn't be ready in time, and to lap the building and return. Definitely means that expenditure of gas and energy has increased, and my family has to endure prolonged waiting. 2. Upon returning to the drive-thru, and a similar order was made by another customer after me. What is to ensure that the orders are mixed up, when enunciation of the window worker can make the difference in understanding. I.e. order one; 16 piece family and a side is green beans. Order two; 16 piece family and all three sides are green beans. Driver one got order two by mistake. 3. Upon exiting any variable of emergency happens and i am out of money and food for the evening. I do apologize if this is a bit extreme. However, i would hae appreciated it if we were asked to park and the order will brought out to us. I inquired about the reasoning behind the instructions to exit and return. And was told that they wanted to beat the timer that is clocking their speed and efficiency of drive-thru and overall staff. If that is the case, other measures can be taken that would not inconvenience the customer further than necessary. To lap a round the building and return in the drive-thru was illogical and pointless.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Chicken Review

Popeyes prices are way too high for chicken that has been sitting for hours. I spent $18 on two chicken strip dinners that were terrible, I will never go back to Popeyes or recommend it to anyone else.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Customer Care Review from Pensacola, Florida

Was in the Pensacola, Fl store on Navy Blvd. The gentleman before me was told it would be 12 minutes. So I repeated that to the man taking my order before placing it at 7:25. I didn't receive my order until 7:47. The customer before me was at the counter for 5 min trying to get someone to come to the counter and explain what was taking so long. Everyone was in the kitchen area and was ignoring him. The girl at the drive thru was also in kitchen area and explained she didn't take his order and didn't know anything. The manager (asian lady) was stating she did not say it was 12 min (I heard her as I was walking in). She also stated they were very busy, and short handed, in myopinion should not be a response to an upset customer! She wasn't what I consider to be a good representative for your company. Please have a couple of your executives or secret shoppers go to this store. This is not an isolated incident. We do not go for chicken as often as we would like as these type of visits are way too common. We love Popeyes, and would like for it to stay. Churches and KFC have both since gone from this area. Please fix the problem Kelly Schmitt 1408 Heinrich St Pensacola, Fl 32507 812-204-**** Thank you

Update on Popeyes...Popeyes contacted me, and took these photos to the Popeyes here. He was the regional manager and seemed genuinely concerned.

He said they do not tolerate this kind of service, nor cheating customers.

His job, he said, is to be sure the Popeyes in his...

This is my 3rd bad experience at the Popeyes in Aransas Pass, Texas. The first time, they made my husband take chicken that had been sitting there, instead of fresh cooked that had just come out. It was old and stale tasting. Decided to give them another chance. Way overcharged me for 2 orders (2 piece dinners) $18.55. Make me pay $1.97 each for a breast in each instead of a thigh. Gave them one more chance (my last time). The pieces were so tiny it was unbelievable. I am going to try to post some photos. The drumsticks were like drumettes, like from a wing. I have a photo showing a Popeye thigh next to a KFC thigh. No meat, just breading. KFC on the right, Popeyes thigh on the left.

small portions and all bread. everyone in the food business wants to fill you up with bread and make you think its a meal

#1591772

you don't have to take what they feel like giving you. you can simply demand a refund and leave. and most food joints do use tiny baby chickens to feed us.

Your are making these posts yourself and blaming your imaginary friend Kevin. I see no beating post at all.

They are not friends, she just likes to blame others for her posts rather than take responsibility for her lies and harassment of others.

The posts where she beat her daughter and blamed Popeyes was deleted. Once they confirmed that they were from her IP address she asked them to delete the evidence.

#1036673

Not to mention, the child was eight when he posted that Walmart Zelda review and he called an eight year old a retard for making spelling and grammar mistakes which he does himself. Aiden was eight when he made spelling and grammar mistakes, what is Kevin's excuse, despite being a bonehead.

You are correct Kevin Richards needs to be banned. He is not only bashing others but cyberbullying nine or ten year old fineyoungaiden2005 online.

#1024372

Kevin degrades peoples' postings here all the time. He has no life except the one he has made for himself at this site.

That I believe. I saw him on other posts.

Apparently this is his life. Very sad person.

Thanks for your input.

I am just going to ignore him. What a pathetic person.

@Yona Haj

Someone needs to delete this review. The person is trolling her own review and creating multiple accounts herself and saying I am doing so.

She has admitted to making lies about her husband, disturbing lies to get back at him because they argued. Then when they made up she admitted to it.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Drive-Through Review

Omg. I have lived inn Austin for over a quarter century and have gone to several Popeyes stores for two for Tuesday. My main being the North Lamar store. Ann stmt of employees, an eternity for delivery of orders. Not so for store# 3229.the service was nice, efficient, and very fast. Now i understand why the drive thru line was shorter than all the other stores i have visited in the past
