I placed a bulk order for a business and was contacted 30 mins prior to the scheduled arrival time and was told they could not fulfill the order because they were not tipped. When I mentioned that they never would accept a tip prior, they said the manager that was not charging delivery fees was no longer with the company and they refused to deliver for free.
I was so upset that I had employees waiting for food they would not receive due to such a minor issue. The evening manager was so very rude to me and hung on me more than once during the conversation. I had already paid for the food and requested a refund. She refused to cooperate with me.
She called me back about 20 minutes later and told me they would go ahead and deliver the food, but they would not be doing it again.
I have not called back since. That was the most terrible customer service I have ever received.
