- Order placed 6:07pm; forgotten; waited 30 min; fixed by another staffer.
- Anthony refused and insulted me; spoke with Jordan; plan to contact corp.
I am a 61y old African American male. In high school, I too worked in the fast food industry and understand the vigorous overload of customers at the peak of certain hours especially with, Uber eats and Door Dash, which was unheard of back in my day.
On, Wednesday Apr.15,2026 at around or about 1800 hours (6pm), I arrived placed my order at the counter at 1807 (6:07pm).
At 1830, the cashier (Anthony) stated, I forgot all about you, at that time, I was sitting at one of the tables and smiled and said, "yes you did".
I walked up to the counter and Anthony asked for my receipt. I went to hand Anthony my receipt (I was holding the receipt with my thumb and index finger with my right, as Anthony went retrieve the receipt, it would not come a loose from fingers).
At that moment, Anthony stated, *** I ain't got time to fool with you") and ask the another customer receipt. At no time did, I mean for this to happen, I even tried to apologize to him however,
Anthony walked away and went around to the backside of the chicken bin and told another employee,
"can you fix that *** food cause, I'm not doing it". That employee did not respond.
Anthony then turn to another employee and stated again, " can you fix that *** food cause, I'm not doing it".
That employee came around to the counter and asked for my receipt, I handed it to him. He fixed my order and I even ask him for a biscuit being that, I waited 30min for my order and Anthony admitted he forgot about me. He gave me a biscuit, I thanked him and then asked to speak with management.
That employee stated, " I am the manager". I asked him could, I speak with him from behind the the counter due to other people was behind me waiting to order. He came out, I first him his name, He replied, "Jordan".
I explained to Jordan the situation that occurred at the counter with myself and Anthony and I meant no harm and was not trying to do that on purpose. I stated, " I was even trying to apologize to him as he was walking away from me.
However, what I didn't appreciate, was his comments in calling me a *** in my face but, to another employee as well, who also refused to fix my order.
Then, he turns to you (Jordan-Mgr) and repeats the same thing to you. I was able to hear every Anthony said as he was saying it.
I stated, I understand it was busy however, Anthony's disrespect in unacceptable and I will be contacting corporate about this matter.

- Opened bag reused, risking contamination.
- I asked for a remake; only part was redone.
- I will report to health dept; video exists.
I contacted them through every avenue available and the only one I got a response from was a Facebook computer generated reply. No resolution, no refund. I did report them to the health department so hopefully they will be investigated and retrained at this facility.
A male employee brought an order to the white vehicle in front of me.
The customer stated that their drinks were missing. When the employee returned with the drinks, the customer handed him back a torn open bag of food, stating it was not their order. The customer had clearly opened the bag and gone through the food.
The employee then brought that same opened bag to my car and asked, You Linda? I confirmed, and he attempted to hand me the bag.
I immediately told him that another customer had opened and handled the food and asked that my order be remade due to contamination concerns. He did not respond, took the bag, and walked away.
At that point, I observed him remove the food from the opened bag and begin placing it into a new bag instead of remaking the order. I began recording because I was extremely concerned that contaminated food was about to be served.
I asked a female employee to please tell him to discard the contaminated food and remake my order. She told me that if I wanted the order remade, it would take approximately 20 minutes.
I told her that was fine I simply did not want food that had been handled by another customer.
Shortly after, I witnessed the male employee removing food containers from the contaminated bag and passing them back into the kitchen to an older female employee who appeared to be a manager. I then went inside the restaurant and witnessed the older female employee opening the contaminated food containers and placing them back in with other food that appeared to be intended for customer orders.
This was an extremely disturbing food safety and cross-contamination issue.
When I spoke up about what I had just witnessed, the older female employee became upset and told me I could not record and that I better stop right now, rather than addressing the food safety concern. She then told me to cancel my order.
Ultimately, the restaurant remade only part of my order. However, after witnessing the unsafe and unsanitary handling of food, I do not trust eating or feeding my children anything from that location.
I also observed employees handling personal phones while working with food.
I asked for a corporate phone number and the name of the manager on duty, but I was refused.
This was one of the most unprofessional and unsanitary incidents I have ever experienced at a restaurant.
I have video documentation of the incident. Several other customers were witness to this, and multiple conversations were had about the contamination and unprofessional behavior of what appeared to be the manager.
Due to the severity of what occurred, I also plan to report this incident to the local health department.

Several issues all on eve encounter
- The manager refused a torn $5 bill, saying it wasn’t legal tender.
- The service felt disrespectful overall, despite others remaining polite.
The proprietor/manager first seemed to have an issue w/ a slightly torn $5 new $5 bill at about 1/2 in. From end of bill and he first refused to except it my adult son pleasantly mentioned it was still considered legal tender but the man said no and at first wouldnt accept it which I didnt see the big deal but not having another to offer and not wanting to break another $20 for this individual I said that was all I had.
The bill came to $32.85 I had 2 singles and no change. I used a coupon for. 14 piece or tenders 2 sides and 7 biscuits.
I get home and this individual had made sure we received no Breast really ?! There were no issues due to disrespect or vulgaritys everyone remained respectful but this was just blatant disrespect from this individual

You closed my complaint without reading my complaint and looking at my photos. It was bland and the chicken portion was really small. I want credit for the 2 sandwiches or O will never order again

I'm not sure Popeyes will ignore you
All automated - no refund , no response was very annoying. My case was closed without a response and I lost my money and the purchase.
The chicken was old and delivered with a whole on the side of the bag with chicken on the bottom of the bag . Disgusting!
I will never order any restaurant food here anymore. They need a diverse work team that actually likes and appreciate their job

- The staff on duty did not acknowledge us or take our order for a long time.
- A back-of-house worker yelled for money and left before taking our order.
To whom it may concern, on this date of 6/2/2026, we patronized location 1878 [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], Store #13259, where a MOD was taking an order with us next in line. This was at 4:12 PM.
He filled the guy's order and began to organize trays, never acknowledged us or asked for us to give him a minute. A worker from the back yelled she needed money, and off he went without taking our order. The only time he acknowledged us was after asking if there was someone else taking orders after he input $305 in cash into the money collector. After him telling me and others that he just got there and to give him a second, after we had already given 5 minutes of our time, still no orders were taken before he went back into the office.
Not only did he lose customers, but I will also be sure to remind everyone in the network what a poorly run establishment this store is.

Never received refund
I placed an order on April 19, 2026 for 53.33 my order never came. I called the store where I placed the order no help.
The app sent me a message that there was a hiccup on their end and that they would refund me the money.
Now its May 4 and still no refund. I need a popeyes manager or rep to get in contact with.

Our last purchase on May 30, 2026, of Popeyes chicken was overcooked, dry, and tasteless, and the drumsticks were only 3 inches in length with virtually no meat! We had been having issues with small chicken pieces at our usual store—[PERSON_NAME][GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]—and decided to go to another store on [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA]/[GEOGRAPHIC_DATA], [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA].
This is where we made our last purchase for $42.39. We are tired of wasting our money. We used to love Popeyes chicken. I believe that the batter has changed to our dislike; it seems Popeyes is buying inferior chickens and charging the same price or more.
We have boycotted many fast-food restaurants due to their downsizing of food products.
And after at least four bad experiences, it seems we will now boycott Popeyes restaurants. Please let us know (perhaps through advertisements) when Popeyes chicken preparations will return to the batter, size, and quality we have known for years.

Hello. My name is Quintella, and I had recently went out there to, Popeyes Chicken on Jensen Drive.
And when I pulled up, they didn't have no lights on, and it looked like they wasn't really cooking anything because I didn't smell any food. But the crazy part is that when they gave me my order, you know, I thought everything was in the bag. So when I looked at my box, they had gave me the wrong food. And so I was telling her, you know, she gave me thighs instead of the wings.
So I gave her that back. And she gave me another order with three legs in it, and that's not what I ordered. So she gave me two two order of legs, and then she gave me a order of thighs. And I asked for the $2.05 the $5 orders of the wings and legs, spicy.
And she got all everything messed up. I didn't even get my butterfly shrimp nor my my chicken selects. So I didn't get none of them. So I tried to call the store.
No answer. I tried to make a complaint. No complaint. So this is the fourth that I can get is calling talking to y'all right now.
This is the farthest I got right here. And to be honest with you, I believe I still have my receipt. I did take a screenshot of it. I do have it on my phone.
I want my money back because I don't appreciate this. It took a long time just to get in touch with y'all, and it's so unacceptable. I know we're going through a lot right now, but this doesn't make any sense. I'm not mad at anyone.
It's just the fact that we cannot communicate like this. I don't wanna communicate like this. I like to be respectful when I'm dealing with people, and that's a fact. But now I hate talking to people over the phone like this, but I pray to God that things get done.
I use two different credit cards. I have my receipt at my bank account or whatever you need. I have it. But I really wanna hold for a refund because I don't appreciate it.

- Poor service and order handling at Popeyes in Mankato.
- Receipt and order mistakes; no substitution for out-of-stock item; food was subpar.
Going to Popeyes in [GEOGRAPHIC_DATA] might have been THE WORST dining experience i've had. Keep in mind its 4 pm and there was only a couple of people eating there.
First, we went to the counter to place our order and apparently I ruined the workers day because he acted like it was a big inconvenience I wanted to order. I had to repeat my order multiple times because it must be rocket science taking a fast food order. When we placed our order he informed my daughter they were out of one of the things that comes with the meal, no replacement option was given. OK fine whatever.
Second, we went to sit down and there's not much seating and I guess the one employee that was on break had to use a booth that would fit a family as opposed to a table for 2.
Third, Once I sat down I told my wife the total seemed kind if high so we looked at the receipt. We noticed we were charged for the wrong items. I brought the receipt to the counter to point this out. He then basically said it was my fault for telling him the wrong thing when I ordered. Did I mention I had to repeat myself when I ordered? No apology from him, nothing. So I said thats pretty messed up and walked back to our crappy high table.
Fourth, we got our order and shocker...they screwed it up. So I took it back to the counter to point this out and they tried telling me AGAIN that I was wrong until I physically brought the food up to show them because words are hard. And they gave me a new order which was WRONG AGAIN. I gave up and just ate what we had. Very pissed at this point.
Finally we ate our subpar, over cooked chicken, and hockey puck biscuits and we're ready to leave. I wanted to use the rest room before we left so I stood by the bathroom door waiting since it was in use. I heard a flush, no running water or air dryer after thinking "yuck, they didn't wash their hands" and what a surprise... out walks an employee...unwashed hands...walked back to the prep area .
I will never eat there again

- Hard to reach Popeyes customer service.
- Locations are understaffed and slow.
- Orders arrive late or missing items; fries not bagged.
It's extremely hard to get in contact with Popeyes customer service. It's as if you guys want to make it hard for us customers to resolve problems or get our money back.
This is probably the reason you guys have so much going on because no one is available to help customers, and that's why they have to resort to harsher actions like lawsuits. These locations are failing. They don't have enough employees. They lack proficiency in the English language and move extremely slowly.
There is no sense of urgency whatsoever. This young girl tried to give me a bag of fries she had sitting there for who knows how long. On top of me making a mobile order and receiving it 10 minutes after I came in, which I ordered ten minutes before I walked through the door. Once she made me new fries, she never put them into the bag.
I spend a lot of money in this place to save up on my points and to be able to use them as needed. From now on, I will be taking pictures of all my food. If it's not burned, something is always missing. Popeyes customer service in many locations is horrible.
To get to customer service is even worse. I'm moving forward with creating a page dedicated to Popeyes because no matter how many complaints go in, there is no change being made.

Been waiting for my refund for months now. I've been chatting with no one returning my call.
This is really making me angry to keep going through the same thing for months and then no one gets back to you. I would like to talk to a live person if I'm going to get my refund. Never had this problem before trying to resolve an issue. I don't have money to give away, and I did not get my food because I gave it to the manager on duty at the *** location, and she said I had to do it online since that's how I paid.
This has been going on too long. I've left my address, my phone contact, and been waiting patiently for someone to get back to me. This is not good customer service. A consumer should be able to talk to a human instead of a machine that tells me I have to start over and do it again after I've already told the issue.
Hopefully, some human being will get back to me this time. I don't want to talk to an assistant person. Hopefully, you can resolve this issue. Once again, my name is ***.
