Bad service

Bad service by the manager at the Popeyes South San Francisco location. All the people there are Mexican; they don't show respect for African American people. They save up all the bad chicken to serve to the black people. They're so used to all the chicken sitting out on a hot day. It doesn't sell; that's how they steal money from the store. Bad people.

Good evening,

My name is Jasmine,

I live Philadelphia PA, Southwest Philly to be exact and I have experienced a very horrible experience and PRAY to GOD that my family or I get sick. I ordered take out from the Popeyes chicken in Penrose Plaza, Island Avenue.

Lets start with the employees not greeting their customers well, but they gave me uncooked food. Our chicken was pink in the middle. After finding another ride to take the food back; I was not greeted with empathy, concern, anything besides did you want change a piece of chicken; in which I told her all of it. So we had gotten the 16 piece but 5 breast, 3, thighs and a mix of the rest totaling maybe 12 pieces since we substituted.

She did not listen to me and tried to give me a bunch of wings after I told her what we got. So we get chicken, on our drive back; its NOT seasoned and Im not sure how you would did that since its Louisiana Popeyes, its the company recipe. So okay, I add some Smack Ya Mama for flavoring. Now I always get my chicken w/ the Jalapeños because I eat them together.

I have never gotten a old/expired pepper. I am so unsatisfied, disappointed, and quite angry for the amount of money I spent, $46 including a small coleslaw that mother was also unsatisfied with.

Pros:
  • Location convenient to my home
Cons:
  • Food has not been up to standards that it used to be

Preferred solution: I feel like I should have gotten a sincere apology, some kind of extra accommodation if a refund was not possible.

User's recommendation: Check your food!

Size of chicken pieces and fries appaling and way overpriced

Went to Eastchase, Arlington, TX store for two take out orders. Wanted two orders of three pieces of dark chicken and fries, no drinks, no bread.

Only option was the combo meal. No alternatives offered/suggested. Each meals delivered consisted of two minute drum sticks, one minuscule thigh, a lump of partially-cooked dough (bread?). One order contained 32 one inch pieces of fries (I counted) and the second order about the same.

Price - $23.79. Disgraceful! The pieces of chick were about the size one would expect from a pigeon - they were minuscule. For the same price could have got a full meal and then some from any of the other chicken places in the DFW metroplex.

You can get a full cooked chicken from Costco for ~$6. Other than a lathering of Louisiana type hot sauce on one on the drum sticks, the food was not spicy. No wonder the inflation stats are so high. Both order combined couldn't have more than $3.5 of food, meaning cost of goods sold were no more 16%.

That's a huge profit margin to cover profit and overhead. Wait staff were disinterested, making me wait while he talked to his colleague and took a phone call.

Popeyes used to be my goto place for a "quality" chicken meal. Not anymore.

My name is Jim Pruitt and I came into a popeye's restaurant store number 11977 the address is 1705 ridge station court Capitol Heights Maryland 20743. I was being served by a young lady named Kennedy post number 11 no 10074 She told me I had to wait a few minutes for the other 2 apple pies and there'd been waiting seriously since about 25 after 7 Notice that the young man had took my order that she had put over the warmer for me after I asked her to do it and gave it to another customer.

They only had 2 applies but some would be up very shortly 2 Apple pies. Societh Mr Kennedy asked me if I could wait I said yes. And when the pies were coming up drive through took all of the pies because the front I guess registered did not say anything about that they needed any pause so I had to wait in additionalFor new pies. Began to speak with the young lady who was making the pies and she apologized you know she didn't know because no one told her.

In the midst of me having a conversation with her this young man came up in my face rudely and started telling me how I should talk to the young lady which I wasn't being rude to I was talking loud because we were talking to each other across the room. And I asked him to please stay out of my conversation because I wasn't talking to him and he consisted to tell me whatever the *** he wanted to tell me I wanted to reach over-the-counter and knock him the *** out. The 7 and I've grown past that. Then he proceeded to tell me if I don't shut my mouth that he'll put me out right now and I won't get anything.

Young lady from drive through explained to me that no one told her so that's why she took she apologized. Yes came up to me and said just give me 6 minutes and I'll take care of what she did in less than 6 minutes and she apologized. This little young man. Nothing to me but what did that I've received enough to sell them anything cause I don't wanna talk to you.

Gotta go get the young man's name so you know who he isAfter I waited till 733 to get my pies there's no more shrimps cause I first I ordered at 709 a Tackle box with macaroni and cheese. But there is no Mac and there's no shrimp it's got to wait for them to recoup the shrimp. I just went to ask the young man what his name was I can put him on this report, At times and he ignored me all 4 or5 times. So I asked miss Holloway what was his name,, Tell me he is supposed to tell me.

Though I thought maybe he didn't hear me I know I was loud enough but I just wanted to make sure so I walked over to him and asked him again what is your name you just ignored me. The level of disrespect astronomical. It's chow I don't know if the manager or not working for you you might want to rethink that. Been 25 and he jumped in my face like he did this would have been a very different conversation.

It's trying to find out who I Am and WHY the *** I beat the *** out of you employee. You need to fix it thank you I wait for your reply.

Here below here's a picture of them. I just received my order about 5 minutes ago.

I placed a food order through my app. Went to pick up my food through the drive thru ,line was long so I wasnt able to check my food there , came home to find out I was missing my 3 pieces of tenders I ordered .

I drove back to Popeyes went inside and was greeted with a what are you here for I proceeded to explain what was wrong she then replied all this for 3 tenders ? I also over heard her speaking with a mother employee stating you will be mad if I threw this on the floor talking about someone elses order . I received my tenders I asked for some sauce and was told there wasnt any ,and I just left . I got home (now all my food was cold) i separated dishes for my family just to find out the chicken (most of them were very pink and red inside ) along with my 3 piece tenders being extremely small.

I felt the need to write because the service was just not acceptable and the food as well. I know now I will Never go back to that location.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - My order was not of satisfaction.
Hello, I went to the Popeyes off Pleasant Hill Road (address: 1635 Pleasant Hill Road Duluth,GA 30096) around 4pm on 5/27/24. I went through the drive thru. I had a 3 piece combo white meat only, dirty rice and sweet tea for the drink. I had 2 spoonfuls of dirty rice in the container, the chicken was cold and no receipt. I thought it was a little odd the young man asked me to pull up, when there were no other customers behind me at the drive thru. He brought it out to my car less than 2 minutes after I pulled up. I was really looking forward to my meal. Very disappointed customer, Selena Fennell

Where's my $$ change?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Where's my $$ change?

Paid $20 cash for a meal that cost $13.78 with tax included in this amount. Was only given $6.00 back.

Knowing some coin should be coming my way and verifying the receipt said $6.22 should be given back to me, I asked the cashier for the .22 cents. A manager was then brought to the window who told me "SHE TOLD YOU WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING EXACT CHANGE!" I disagreed. No- it was never said to me, nor was it posted anywhere. The manager double down: "I WAS WEARING THE HEADSET AND I HEARD HER TELL YOU IT WAS EXACT CHANGE ONLY."

At this point I wasn't going to cause a scene over .22 cents, so I drove away.

But this was NEVER said, and the receipt shows I should have gotten the .22 cents with the $6. Where is the change going? And if it's exact change, those before me, who would have paid in exact change, would have given coins. So, they have coins to give back.

So again, where is the money?

The receipt implies they are giving the change back to the customer, but this store did NOT. My receipt info: Sat May 04 2024 05.08 PM T=10L I=5 C=513030 Popeyes #13675

Unhappy Costomer

I visited Popeyes, located at 2245 W Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL about 8pm this evening. The young girl who was working the cash register stayed on her cell phone, on a personal call, all throughout her contact with waiting customers.

Once it was my turn to order, I approached the cash register, but she never asked me what I wanted to order. In fact, she never said a word, she just stood there looking at me with a "well what do you want" expression on her face. As if I were interrupting her private time.

Is this the way Popeyes trains their personnel to interact with customers?

She then asked me to step to the side while she took the order of the person behind me. I watched her put the chicken I'd ordered into a container and then set the container to the side.

I stood there for about 3-4 minutes, and then I asked what the hold up was. She advised me she was waiting on biscuits. My next question is, doesn't Popeyes tell the cashiers to inform the customers when there's going to be a wait on something?

But that's not all. After the biscuits came out of the oven she did package them up, put them into a bag, and then proceed to give them to me, along with a box of chicken which I hadn't ordered.

In fact, when she took the box, the guy who was working the counter told her that was chicken he'd just boxed for a customer, and that she had the wrong box. She replied that he was wrong, and that she did have the right box. I happened to have been watching when she boxed up my chicken, and I told her that she had indeed grabbed the wrong box, and I then proceeded to give the bag back to her. She opened it up and looked and saw that she had indeed made an error.

My guess is that she was concentrating more on her phone call than on what customers were ordering.

She then took that box of chicken out of the bag, returned it to the counter and while putting my correct container in the bag, told the guy he was going to have to make another order for his customer. He replied that he wasn't going to re-do the order, and they both kind of laughed about it. Now I don't know if he re-did the order or not, but I'm betting they served that chicken to his customer.

It was at that point that I decided I would contact the corporate office about this, so I asked for a receipt to have the store number and the girl's name or employee number. I was informed that the printer for the cash register wasn't working and that they couldn't give me a receipt.

So here's another question from me, shouldn't that be something a customer be told up front, before placing their order? Receipts are absolutely necessary for some people. I was told that if a receipt was necessary for me, I could take a picture of my transaction on the cash register, which I did. I can forward it if you need it but it doesn't show a store number or an employee name/number.

But I asked to speak to the manager on duty, and the guy who'd told the girl that she grabbed his box by mistake, said he was the manager. I told him that a receipt not being printed was no small thing and that customers should be advised of it. He pretty much told me I was up the creek regarding receiving a printed receipt but that I could take a picture of the transaction from the cash register's screen.

If he was indeed the manager (and he may have been because his shirt was a different color [gray] from everyone else's), he's also in need of repercussion because {a} he watched the girl on her phone all while she was supposed to be taking orders, {b} he was flip, not at all apologetic about the receipt business, and {c} he said he wasn't going to re-do the order that had been opened up after being packaged. Again, they may very well have gone on and served it which, I believe, is a health/sanitary violation.

And here's something else very curious, this particular location has had a sign on the counter for some months now, advising customers that they either have to have exact change for their order or pay with a card.

If people are paying with exact change, how is it not possible for them to make change for a customer who say, owes $18.57 and they give a $20 dollar bill? I'm not understanding that at all.

Very poor customer service, the kind that makes a person not want to come back.
