Miriam from Popeyes has called me and told me to come in to the store and she would resolve my problem. I have been very sick and have not been able to go to the store. I wish they would just send me my money back.
I ask again, "What comes in the box?" She says, "8 shrimp". "Anything else" I ask? Cocktail sauce. So I pay.
Then I decide I want a biscuit and a small side of cole slaw. That's another $5.28. No receipt given for anything.I pay and leave. Get home and check the Popeye's website.
Says tacklebox includes biscuit, side and 8 shrimp.
My question is, "Was I just ripped off?" How come these people on the register don't even know what comes with a meal? Let alone how much it costs? Kind of arbitrary and shady. I'm almost certain I wasn't the only one overcharged or cheated of food they paid for.
Real shady place.
Should be investigated. I want my money back!

I have purchased Popeyes chicken wings and regular chicken, and I can tell you it has been one of the worst experiences that I have ever had from a restaurant. From December of 2024 until March 2025, I placed orders through DoorDash, and they did something wrong on every order I placed.
I ordered a 4-piece fried chicken; it was missing one piece of chicken and the biscuits. In another order, I placed 6 hot wings and a three-piece fried chicken with red beans and rice. The red beans and rice were spoiled, and I received two pieces of skin for two of the wings. I ordered an 8-piece box; the chicken must have been sitting since lunchtime.
It was dried up and almost frozen. The last order I placed, I ordered a 4-piece chicken and received a chicken quarter and two separate pieces. They are just a sloppy organization. I sent a complaint along with copies of my receipts.
I received no response from the area manager. I sent another copy to their corporate office, and I received a response with a case number, and they said wait 5 business days to get a response. It's been 12 days. In the email, it said to contact them if I had any questions.
I sent an email to the customer service specialist; I haven't heard from them yet. I sent another email asking what happened to my complaint; I haven't heard.
They care nothing about the customer. My recommendation is to save your money or go to another restaurant that sells chicken.

Ignorant employee almost arguing with me over wings being extremely hot. I never experienced anything like this before ever in my 55 years of living.
She's sabotaging your sales at your restaurant. She talked me out of purchasing the fried pickles. She was literally damn near not going to take my order because I wanted the garlic parmesan wings. She had a serious attitude when I got to the window.
If Popeyes value their business, something needs to be done with maniac!! I feel very offended by the way I was treated. I would like a refund. Something is definitely wrong with your employee.
Maybe she's on drugs or was saving all the wings to steal and take home for her and her family. Her behavior was very erratic. Not acceptable at all.
She doesn't need to interact with the public at all. No social skills or customer service skills.

After submitting an application, my daughter was told to report to work the very next day without an interview or any type of formal screening process. Despite her enthusiasm and professionalism, she was later dismissed simply for informing the staff about a previously scheduled one-week family vacationsomething that had never been asked about or clarified during the onboarding process (She never had an interview).
One of the staff members training her had reassured her it would be acceptable to return after the vacation, only for her to later be told not to return.
Moreover, she was never given clear information about how to collect her paycheck for the time she worked.
This lack of transparency and accountability raises serious ethical concerns, especially given that this job was her first professional experience.
As a trusted platform for businesses and consumers alike, I find it important to bring this experience to your attention. Young workers deserve to be treated with dignity and fairness, and businesses engaging in such questionable practices should not go unchecked in public-facing listings.

Drive thru screen did not work. We waited 20 minutes at the speaker before anyone took our order.
As employee was taking my order she was very rude.
My food was very old, cold, and dry. There was no condiments nor utensils.

Verified Reviewer |Food issue order was wrong and while I'm paying for something I didn't receive plus the manager was rude had me sitting on the phone while she put the phone down.
The company needs to fire whoever the night manager is, or whoever was acting like the manager. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager.
So, I explained what happened and she tells me she hears me. Then, I asked her what I said and got no answer.
She then puts my call on hold and leaves me listening to her crew. This is unacceptable and rude.

I recently ordered a chicken sandwich from Popeyes, and what I received was beyond unacceptablethe sandwich was covered in flies. This wasnt just a small issue; it was a serious health hazard.
I had to throw the entire meal away and spend extra money to replace the food for my family.
For a well-known brand like Popeyes, this level of negligence is shocking.
Cleanliness and food safety should be a top priority, and this experience shows a complete lack of care. I wont be ordering from this location again divisadero 599 San Francisco never had this happen not my usual location

I ordered a 12-piece with two orders of fries, and about nine pieces were burned, as well as some of the fries, so we ate the three pieces that weren't burned and some of the fries. We picked over what we could eat.
The next day, I asked for a refund but was denied since three unburned pieces were eaten. I did, however, receive another 12-piece and one order of fries which didn't do any good because the purpose/event for me buying the 12-piece dinner was over. Also, the worst part is that the cook was cursing and slamming doors, inside and outside of the restaurant.
I believe this is the cause of my food being burned, due to lack of attention. As of today, no one has called me about my complaints, but I'm hoping this gets addressed sooner than later.

Store at 865 North hacienda boulevard this morning before they open I was there and after they open 10:00 a.m. just to let you know I'm not going back I orded.
I waited almost 30 minutes ask the Hispanic Lady staff went will you help me and then she mad at me I don't want to serve you she said that I'm the only one here to serve. "don't take your anger out of the customer this is bad"

I placed an order at 9:16 pm on 01/30/2025, and my dasher waited close to an hour for my order. The woman on shift that night laughed in her face, looked at my order, and said they were not cooking my shrimp.
They told the dasher to tell me to cancel my whole order. They don't close until 11 pm. They laughed in my dasher's face and continued to talk to her coworkers.
They had more than enough time to prepare my order! They always are like this past 5 pm!

Preferred solution: I don’t want anything but for them to start holding their employees accountable! They are always rude and lazy! If you don’t want to work then don’t apply!

Verified Reviewer |I got sick after eating this chicken today and I need to speak to someone regarding this matter . I’m going legal tomorrow calling my lawyer as well .
I have not been happy since and I will never eat there food again Ifeel that there are issues that need to resolve with there staff and inspection regularly. I’m still waiting for someone in there higher department to reconcile this situation with I’m still not having a regular bowl movement I’m just in shook still. I don’t feel that it was fair at all to me as regular loyal customer!
I ate some chicken from one of your locations and it was not done and started feeling sick I threw up twice and stomach has been in pain since Im at hospital and I need to speak to someone about this

I had a order completely wrong and delivered 1 hour and 15 minutes late
They completely delivered the wrong order and it came 1 hrs and 15 minutes late. The restaurant completely blamed the app for taking responsibility of this situation and to be the one to fix it instead of the location I bought it at. It's been since 4/25/35 and today is 5/4/25 and no response from the app.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
When I came in, the employees' work language and attire were very concerning. I asked for the manager, and they were acting as if they didn’t have one. So I waited, still because I wanted chicken. The cashier went from side to back, and when I finally got my food, I was down the street and the turning around was a negative because I already waited 15 to 20 minutes for chicken that was supposed to be fresh, and that wasn’t it at all.
I went to the bathroom, so I'm not certain if it was fresh because it didn’t taste like it. There’s no way anyone would want this food if they were on the other side.
You’re supposed to cook the food as if you are eating it, or your parents, at least. The worst customer service and food ever.

At most you should get a discount. If you do not return the food when you get your money back, you are the one ripping people off, and raising prices for honest people to cover the cost of your dishonestly.
