My sister went to Popeyes last night on 312 **** the Popeyes on Murfreesboro Pike in Antioch near the Publix. She went there at 9:30 PM.
She got a 12 piece wing half garlic Parmesan half ghost pepper. It was her and a friend they tossed the wings together apparently because when she got her wings she had some garlic Parmesan and there were like two of them were ghost pepper she bit into a ghost pepper wing and shes been sick all day like shes she started getting sick last night and shes been sick all day, I just needed to be understood that you have to be careful, especially when preparing food because sometimes you people could be sick. You dont know what type of health conditions people could have. She was sick all night and shes been sick all day and I do not appreciate it.
I really think that this company needs to be revamped. Apparently, if people cannot be competent enough to get an order, correct.

I arrived at Popeyes Lousiana Kitchen located at 8732 South Stony Island Avenue Chicago, IL 60617 at 1:53 pm telephone number 872-250-****. There were 3 cars in front of me at the drive thru.
Waited 13 minutes (not a problem) as I know it's Tuesday and it is usually busy, the car in front of me as I was next was told no more drive thru orders you have to come inside. I parked my car and went inside only to be confronted by 5 customers ahead of me. One lady was complaining that her break from work is over as the wait for service was extremly long.
The 2 employees taking orders one of which appeared to be in training and one manager was on lunch. I only found out she was a manager after I asked her.
She stated that she has been at work since 8 am and at that was her first break. Not a problem, she proceeded to let me know that there is another manager by the name of Ebony was in the backroom area. I asked the team member to tell her that they needed help moving the line. She did not come to address the long wait for service due to understaffing nor did she come out to help move the line.
My order was completed at 2;20 pm this was 27 minutes later for a 3 piece chicken combo.
So while waiting for my food, I started to look around the restaurant. This restaurant needs to be deep clean from top to bottom. Who inspects your restaurant from your corporate office? He or she is not doing a good job and this Popeyes location does not represent your brand well.
I will be remiss if I do not inform Chicago Department of Health about the condition of this restaurant.
Not only is this location understaff, team members do not have enough time to clean this restaurant. This owner should not operate this location like this. This Popeyes has been in the neighborhand for many years and ownership has changed a few times.
I am a local community activist and I will generate flyers to boycott this location until owner hire more employees and create a more clean and inviting manner for this location.
This owner should not get away with understaffing and the expense of customers who are supporting this restaurant. Clearly the community likes Popeyes food that's why this location is still in operation.
Once again, I will contact Chicago Department of Health and I will organize a boycott of this location.
I encourage the individual who oversees the operation of your franchise to visit this location, it is deplorable and I'm not exaggerating this is not a good look for the Popeyes Chain.

I visited the Oak Mill Plaza Popeyes location in Mundelein, IL on Friday just after 5pm. Ordered 2 Flounder fish sandwiches, one spicy and one classic.
Ticket number 682. Once again we received the wrong food. It says flounder sandwiches on the receipt. But we received chicken sandwiches.
I tried calling the restaurant directly to inform them of their mistake, but they refused to answer the phone. Called 5 different times that night. This location gets orders wrong every time we go. Every time.
And they've never once accepted blame. I have a photo of the flounder receipt and chicken sandwiches. How do we move forward? Do i stop going to Popeyes altogether because this location can't get an order correct?
I've spent a lot of money here. And much of it was for the wrong food. This is absolutely unforgivable.
If they won't make up for wrong orders who will? If corporate refuses to make good i have eaten my last meal at Popeyes

We ordered a 12 piece family meal and I ask for additional legs instead of thigh. We were told that it would be a 9 minute wait.
When we got our order there were only 3 legs and they replaced the 3 thighs with 2 wings. When I went to ask what happened I was told they only dropped 6 pieces of chicken and the 3 legs was all they had. I was not even offered spicy instead. I spent almost 50 dollars for 11 pieces of chicken 5 of which were wings.
Also when I ask for sweet tea they said they didnt have any sugar. We go to that location when ever
we go to Eastgate. I wont go back. The lady I spoke with was very rude and nasty.
That place needs a review by corporate. Why would you only drop 6 pieces of chicken at 4 in the afternoon on a Friday.

Verified BuyerGiving ghost wings instead of playing wings for little children, have to take them to urgent care their mouth was on fire. I am very upset and I will sue.

The drive thru attendant was very rude and the manager and team can be heard laughing about it the back ground

I ordered an eight piece family meal mild (dark meat). They had me to pull up because the order was not correct.
I waited for 5 min and they brought the order out. They asked if I had the 8 pc dark mild and I advised yes. I made it home 30 min away and found out the gave me mixed meat and I asked for dark mild and the meat was spicy. Ive tried to contact the store to no avail and the telephone number to the complaint line is worthless also, along with the chat.
I will not be going back to Popeyes no time soon because this is the 5 time my order has been wrong. I went the the Popeyes at 700 Sterlington Rd. Monroe, La. 71203.
Not only that, they did not give me a receipt, so I paid $28.04 and my family couldnt eat the meat due to it being spicy.
I was not going to drive 30 minutes back to the store and back home. I called the store over 10 times and no one ever picked up the phone.

I've been to this one several times as it is the closest and only thing near my work. The service is lousy to say the least.
The pop is either out or flat. They very seldom have correct change and when they do they have to search for it. I've been there a couple of times where they didn't have any silverware or lids for their mashed potatoes. Do you know what it's like eating hot mashed potatoes with gravy with no spoon?
It sucks to say the least!
I had the same problem when I was served macaroni and cheese with no spoon. The bathroom needs to have toilet paper in the holder and that's sitting on the trash can and they need to remove the hand sanitizer completely from the wall as they've only left the back of it so it makes the place look trashy.
