New ReviewerGood evening,
My name is Jasmine,
I live Philadelphia PA, Southwest Philly to be exact and I have experienced a very horrible experience and PRAY to GOD that my family or I get sick. I ordered take out from the Popeyes chicken in Penrose Plaza, Island Avenue.
Lets start with the employees not greeting their customers well, but they gave me uncooked food. Our chicken was pink in the middle. After finding another ride to take the food back; I was not greeted with empathy, concern, anything besides did you want change a piece of chicken; in which I told her all of it. So we had gotten the 16 piece but 5 breast, 3, thighs and a mix of the rest totaling maybe 12 pieces since we substituted.
She did not listen to me and tried to give me a bunch of wings after I told her what we got. So we get chicken, on our drive back; its NOT seasoned and Im not sure how you would did that since its Louisiana Popeyes, its the company recipe. So okay, I add some Smack Ya Mama for flavoring. Now I always get my chicken w/ the Jalapeños because I eat them together.
I have never gotten a old/expired pepper. I am so unsatisfied, disappointed, and quite angry for the amount of money I spent, $46 including a small coleslaw that mother was also unsatisfied with.
User's recommendation: Check your food!
Preferred solution: I feel like I should have gotten a sincere apology, some kind of extra accommodation if a refund was not possible. .
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Pros: Location convenient to my home.
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Cons: Food has not been up to standards that it used to be.
Location: 2934 Island Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19153, United States

Popeyes Chicken stores being independent operators are only as good as their ownership! They struggle to maintain good help .They need to pay better ,treat people better and have much better standards and training!!
RETURN THE FOOD.
Apologies are words and words are cheap. Worthless, in fact.
I want my money or the product I paid for, as advertised. No lip service. You want "sincere apology" ; you sound like Diogenes and his lamp searching for a single honest person. I can live without "empathy" as well ; you've misused the word as it's "sympathy" you're looking for.
"Empathy" indicates similar personal experience by the person expressing it. Only if they got hung by Popeye's food alone can they have empathy.
"some kind of extra accommodation".. Sorry no free chicken today! Why not use your silly a zz Mom's EBT card and cook a meal at home.
extra accommodation = I want free chicken
"extra accommodations", meaning you ate the food but you want free chicken.
This happens when you cannot afford to eat out.
